Classes for kids
Our dance education scheme for children aged 3 to 12 years includes a total of nine grades organised into two stages, namely A and B, corresponding to pre-primary and primary education levels respectively.
Stage A (grades A1 to A3) is an introduction to dance training for boys and girls of preschool age. Classes are centred on creative movement, incorporating elements of dance technique into age-appropriate activities. The focus is on developing basic skills, including body awareness, coordination, sense of rhythm and musicality, laying the foundation for the next level and beyond.
Stage B (grades B1 to B6) constitutes our core curriculum for school-age boys and girls, who are initiated into formal dance training with an emphasis on the academic tradition of classical ballet, while also incorporating various approaches to contemporary dance and movement practices. Classes are devised to gradually build a sound technical base and develop performing, creative, and analytical skills in our young dancers, effectively promoting mastery of the fundamentals and genuine understanding of the art form. Furthermore, beside their ballet and contemporary dance training, pupils in this level may opt to add a jazz class to explore another dance style.
