Move. Create. Inspire.

Diagonal dance school was founded in 2003 in Thessaloniki, Greece, born out of an aspiration to establish a premier hub for dance at regional level and beyond.

Over the years we remain committed to continuously pursue excellence in dance education and creation, leading and supporting the dance community, locally and further afield.

Integrating the art and science of dance training and making into high quality programmes and projects available to all, we provide wide-ranging and far-reaching experiences that promote in-depth knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the art form.

Dance classes for kids

Comprising ballet and contemporary as well as jazz and hip-hop dance, our comprehensive children’s programmes are expertly designed for boys and girls from the age of 3 up to 12 years.

Following a structured, child-centred approach, classes are delivered by highly qualified and experienced teachers within a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.

Performances

Dance making and performing lie at the very heart of our artistic vision, which we seek to share with our dancers and audiences through relevant projects set to engage, challenge, and inspire.

To this end, we regularly stage original, innovative dance works that we create especially for various productions and events, with the highlight being our annual show held in late spring.
